Happy Habitats helps find loving homes for exotic animals by partnering with local rescues to foster, educate, and advocate.
About Us
Happy Habitats is owned and operated by Amelie Pellerin, a third grader and animal care expert. Her parents and younger sister assist her with care and support as well as a large group of volunteers. All of our animals are fostered out of our home in Indianapolis, Indiana.
We are not a rescue. We instead partner with local animal rescues to provide foster care. All of our animals are up for adoption and we will direct you to the associated organization if you are interested. Though our partner organizations provide veterinary care and habitats, we provide food and other ongoing supplies. Your support is welcome and needed!
We Need Your Support
The animals we foster need ongoing food, enrichment items, bedding and more. We cannot support these animals and foster organizations without your help! Below is a list of items for our local friends as well as a link to our Amazon wishlist where all items are shipped to us directly. Both will be updated as needed.
Meet the Animals
We typically support around five animals at a time. So far, we've cared for rabbits, budgies, gerbils, hedgehogs, and guinea pigs. Take a moment to get to know the animals currently in our care!
